Indeed, that's currently there as a placeholder (incase we ever want to build a main site to go along with the forum).

Added, look at the bottom of each thread to see who's viewing/stats etc.

Edit: I've added it onto the forum sections as well so you can see who's in what section.

Well I usually just use the View New Posts link on the member bar, as that is pretty much the same thing, newest posts are towards the top.

Do you mean "mark all forums as read" or just certain forums? if you mean certain forums you can click the forum section's icon to mark that section as read.
