Insanely low message limit

I often like to keep them for reference. Old threads and posts don't get deleted, why should we have to delete pms as soon as we send or receive them?

I treat it like an email inbox, once I read something I delete it because it has no use to me anymore.

Well often I want to keep messages that have useful information in them. It is interesting how all the people opposed to this suggestion already have massive inboxes compared to the rest of us!

I think I have to say that I am the opposite of Drunkie, in the fact that I like to keep everything. You can call it being a pack-rat but I think it's a good way to know that I can always re-access these documents. For example, I hate when I watch a video, say on youtube, and can't download it due to some weird reason. (I usually get it done sooner or later). I have filled 2 t-byte external drives with junk like that, just in case one day, the Internet disappears.

Only fizyk suggested that you can delete messages.. and even that is not opposed to it.

Well look guys, you have over 500 PMS to store, but I have only 20! now thats not even enough to store QUARTER of my PMs that Iv recieved

It should really be around 100 for everyone, I will never utilize my 1000 message limit and I don't know who else would.

I had to clear my folder twice, so that makes about 2500 - 3000 private massages.
