Wiremod SVN program: SVN for dummies

You would not believe the number of idiots that I had to deal with yesterday. I linked them to the SVN tutorial and they still couldn't do it. One guy installed TSVN in his addons folder, deleted it, then had no idea why nothing was working.

I propose this: an executable program (source available) that is essentially a minimal SVN client that automagically connects to the WM SVN. The installer will install the program into addons/wireSVN (for example) and leave a shortcut on the desktop. All the user has to do then is double click the shortcut and wait for it to finish.

Is this viable? I'd do it myself, but I can't do GUI's and you know how noobies hate command line interfaces. If someone wants to pick this up, I'll help where I can.

If they don't know why something didn't work after deleting it, they shouldn't be using Wiremod. They shouldn't be using Gmod at all for that matter. Possibly not even a computer.

Yea, that's the program. The idea was so ingenious that someone already implemented it.

If I meant that, I would have posted it. Anyway, it still requires Tortoise SVN or another client with the same protocols/commands) which some people seem to be incapable of installing.

I'm pretty sure the super easy wire download does not require TSVN.

It comes pre-packaged with the command line SVN client.

Squeaky it gets even funnier when you wonder what these people will make with wiremod, as in my opinion making stuff with it is ALOT harder than the easy install.

I don't think we are even human any more. Then again, I did just watch 2 matrix movies back to back. I'll watch the 3rd tonight, then start on the 3 robocop dvds tomorrow.
