The longer this topic goes on, the less I think of the mods. It almost looks like the moderators spam and flame as much as the people that they ban... if this keeps up, there will be little different from facepunch, and that would certainly be the end of the world.

When anti-spam measures are ignored because the mods like to spam too, something is terribly wrong. <_<

Personally, I agree with the "get rid of the spambox" crowd. I've only ever once posted in it, and that was because I'd just come from a different forum and genuinely expected a search bar there. I don't see what it accomplishes.

Are you talking to me? I think it's more like one in my case. Three infractions result in a ban, and I had two infractions that were supposed to last a really long time...

Why don't you just left-justify the text first, ban the losers who spam in it, and THEN consider deleting it? A lot of people use it to get help, and the IRC is worse as far as immature spam imho-- why don't you people just remove the stupid center tag first and THEN talk about deleting the whole thing?
