![]() (I still wanna finish my mandelbrot drawer though. Should be relatively easy with E2, but building it with discrete gates I got to about 75 gates and gave up.)

The main difference is the instruction flow: A GPU expects a dexit instruction, then reiterates at the entry point for the next frame.

| UWSVN Contributor ![]() | The Gpu cannot be compared to the Cpu in terms of "ease" and "documentation". The gpu was designed to put things on-screen and update that screen. The cpu was made to handle loads of information from the outside world then send it back, processed. The cpu in no way trumps the gpu in screen and graphics. The gpu in no way trumps the cpu in processing and outside-world functions, the gpu can't even write to the outside world in any way. Doing very basic things with gpu, is made to be easy for a novice, like putting text out to screen. But for an advanced coder for it, the things you can do with the gpu outmatch a cpu's graphical interface by any measure. Just look at the matrixing examples in the gpu folder. the cpu would have to make its own matrix then send it out, pixel by pixel, in a very slow manner. The gpu automatically does both the matrix and the pixelation. So in my opinion, the gpu is in fact harder than cpu, for those who don't simply draw "lol" with it

![]() | I can never be Master because my GPU is broke, just shows a blank screen and lags mah comp to death. Also, my CPU is broke, but I still got up to level 7 before I broke it with a division.

![]() | Just triped over this thread, and now I wonder, if, to get level 10, you need to know about CPU-Interrupts too, as this is one of the more advanced and yet hardest to find things. And another thing i wonder about, is, if understanding the CPU and GPU is enough to get those levels. Like: I understand how registers and all that stuff works, but I never made anything with that knowledge, because I had no ideas... If it is enough, I might be Grandmaster, if not, I'm stuck somewhere between level 7 and 10.
