| Re: Revan's Wiremod Tutorials And neither do I.... but it doesn't seem to be necessary. Not that it matters, the rest of it works just fine... just fine. Anyway... more news on precisely what Ill be doing with vectors: 1. I'm going to teach everyone to make a turret that's great for spacebuild, and generally is good at hitting things far away from it.... 2. I'm going to teach how to make 'air resistance' using the vector thruster 3. I'm going to show everyone a new helicopter that I actually just made (for the first time) today  .... it looks nice and it also works like a real helicopter (it leans forwards to move forward, rather than having a cheap little thruster)FYI: #3 doesn't use a vector thruster, it's just a tutorial ill do on friday.... | Re: Revan's Wiremod Tutorials Can't 1 and 3 be done perfectly well with regular thrusters? (For 3 hook it so when you hit w it tilts forward and increases thrust for the bottom thrusters by an amount using trig such that the downward force is still the same but now you have excess forward thrust as well.) (With #1 I'm not even sure how you would use vector thrusters for it other than moving it.) Last edited by Ergzay; 05-23-2008 at 02:02 AM.. |

| Re: Revan's Wiremod Tutorials Yes, they can... I also failed to mention that 3 didn't use vector thrusters.... slipped my mind.... 1 and 2 however both do. And this is NOT for a contraption (for 1 and 2), they are JUST intended to teach the concepts involved, nothing more, and this is why both can be done with regular thrusters and both are incredibly easy to acheive. |

EDIT: Vector thrusters recorded and uploaded... don't post about it not working.. because it wont for another 30 minutes or so.... blame revver.
