Could you make a tutorial on how to make a camera using the cam controler. I know how to make one but everytime it goes upside down it flips the controlls.

i downloaded the auto svn loader that revan suggested in his first tutorial. It will only load PHX models. I cant get wiremod svn or life support.

Hi Revan,

I just wanted to thank you for your tutorials, I've been working for the better part of 3 days on the Control Systems Architecture for a mouse-steered vehicle engine that I intend to test as a possible drive system for SpaceBuild vehicles (specifically small ones like Fighters). It uses two vector thrusters (at the moment) whose thrust is directed in the direction that I'm looking while sitting in the seat. This allows me to control the vehicle along the pitch and yaw axes with the mouse and I intend to use the A and D keys to control separate thrusters that operate on the roll axis.

I wouldn't have found out about things like Expression Chips and most importantly the Relative toggle on the Adv. Vehicle Pod controller without your tutorials. I believe this is sort of what you were looking to accomplish with the "Pod controlled plane using the mouse to move" and I feel like that it will work better on an aircraft than on a spacecraft as the air resistance will make it much more stable. I haven't tried it in space yet though so I could be wrong.

Yeah, the guy who made it didn't keep it up to date. Don't use it.

Notice about tutorials: As of now, I am effectively *retired*. I don't play anymore. Although from time to time I may surprise you (and myself for that matter) and make a new tutorial, or occasionally catch up with old friends, you will not see me much. Who knows... maybe a year down the road I'll start playing again, but until then, good luck with your contraptions.

Hey Revan if u are now "retired" can u maybe start making C/C++/Lua tutorials?
i would like those because im trying to learn C and someday i will learn Lua too and start to make own addons to gmod.
PS. if u wont make them can u recommend any good tutorials?

C? No. Lua? Don't know it (and I hate it because I've tried learning it like... 3 times now). C++ However, yes, I can teach the basics of, I'll see what I can do. (and I may also eventually do Java tutorials also)

By the way, since I'm here and since it has been asked of me in the past and I finally have a good solution for it... for those of you who would like to download my tutorials... get the realplayer browser plugin, it will allow you to download any and all videos that are hosted online for free. So although I will never actually upload the videos for download, you can still download them with this plugin.

So I looked in to it. I can do tutorials for C++, however my microphone drivers are acting up. I'm figuring that one out and as soon as I take care of that, I'll start doing some of those.

a. Life goes on... besides... I intend to try the e-gate v2, and if it's good enough I may be inspired to start playing again.... *may* being the key word.
b. C++ tutorials are on the way... my computer is in the shop because I got nasty nasty virus within the 2 day period in which I didn't have an active anti-virus program.... go figure... so as soon as that gets back to me, I'll work on my microphone issue and then I should be in business.
2. I said that I may make tutorials from time to time... eventually I'll probably make another set of e-gate tutorials... but that'll take some time... and me being bored enough to try again.
