Revan, I've been trying to make a seeker bot using only thrusters and gyroscopic stabilization, I've got it smooth and stable on the z axis, the bearing, and even side-to-side on the X axis with a speedometer. I'm stuck on my last step though, I want to put a thruster on the back, and have that thruster keep the seeker exactly 100 game units away from the target at all times. I've found multiple ways to do this, but I'm having trouble integrating a delta to make it smooth.. I've attempted an expression multiple times, even thought I had it once, but no matter what I've tried I just can't seem to get it to work right (and smooth).

Dist < 100 -> Thrust = (Dist + $Dist*(u have to try))*-1;
Dist > 100 -> Thrsut = (Dist + $Dist * (same as before));
?
if not then try i think it should work and im pretty sure u cant make it smoother than that

I hear you. I actually found a way to do it extremely smoothly using several different gates (delta included), that I believe I could do in a pretty simple expression except the value range, I have no idea how to recreate that gate in an expression.

u need to make something like this

A > 10 -> A = 10;
A < -10 -> A = -10;
just use different values and variables

That isn't quite what a value range does.. a value range takes a constantly changing value, and limits it to a specified range.

yeah that limits it to specific range. that code i put there limits it to from -10 to 10 it cant go any higher or lower so it's totally right

ps. i know what im talking about. just believe me it'll work
