Thanks alot!
Okay, there has recently been a thread on vectors, and I thought I might as well make a tutorial. This missile requires no expression gate, and uses little to no math at all!
This is from the top of my head so it might not be right.
1. First, spawn a long prop, could be a pole or a stick or something, has to be like a missile. Then at the front of the missile, or back, if you will, connect a beacon sensor, tell it to have anything vector, output vector, all the vector options.
2. Second, on the opposite side, the front of the missile, have a vector thruster with a negative thrust and relatively high thrust, do not go too high, but it should be around -50000 depending on weight.
3. Third, wire Mul to a button, X to X on the beacon, Y to Y, and Z to Z.
4. Fourth, link beacon to a target finder, if you do not do this AFTER linking beacon to the X Y Z and mul, you will get a flood of errors at the top right of your screen.
5. Fifth, press the button and your missile will seek the target.
This missile is pulled by the thruster and not pushed, the thruster is the front of the missile!

Vector thrusters would be awesome for a hovering vehicle in my opinion.
now can you make this into a missile that can be copied using prop spawner... or someone make a modified prop spawner that copies wire stuff so it CAN be spawned
A wired "wiring tool" would also be a cool thing.
Since the STool Turret cant wire for us.
That way we can have a missile factory that builds them realtime.
problem with advanced duplicator... if you duplicate an advanced duplicator paster, it breaks it. it no longer spawns, at least the last time I checked... has that changed?if it works... sweet
Seeing as how it would be possible to paste a paster that can paste a paster i wouldn't want this on my server
"Mingetastic" would be the word im looking for here!
However, making a vector missile factory is "possible", the only thing that fail is the wire part because you cant use the STool turret to make wires...
And yes, i edited the stool to allow wire, so it can spawn all the gates etc but it cant wire.
I'm working on a plane and was hoping for the plane to spawn the missiles. my problem there is to do this I have to have the paster attached t the plane. to keep from having to reattach it every time I want to fly it, it would need to be duplicated along with the rest of the plane.Seeing as how it would be possible to paste a paster that can paste a paster i wouldn't want this on my server

What we need is air to air missles, we do have that AMRAAM fly by wire thing, but it is so unrelalistic, it manouveres far too well and has unlimeted fuel so it will never lose a track unless it hits the target, or crashes.
What with the fin tool, allowing us to make planes that have real moving controls instead of thrusters, I think this idea would be great.
