Question Small question about Satellite Dish

Hello,

I wonder, how the satellite dish can catch the camera image to display it on the screen!

I may need this, so i had a look at the satellite dish scripts, and i can't found anything about that!

Please someone..help

The satellite dish has nothing to do with the camera. It's for use with Data Transferrers.

Yup the satalite dish is a bounce station for data transferers at long distances thats why its in the Wire-Data section. Everything in there save the keycard addon is data transferer based.

I know this is for data etc, but spawn a camera, and a satelite dish, and on the satellite dish will be displayed what the camera see!

Its probably beacuse the deafult model is one of the wired screens.

But..i use this screen model too in my advanced textscreen, doesn't do anything when i put a camera :s..

I really need to know how! Please whoever made the satellite dish, help! As i said i looked in it's scripts and i don't see anything related to camera or whatever :s

PS: i tried this:
Code:
function ENT:Draw()
    self.BaseClass.Draw(self)
    Wire_Render(self.Entity)
end
No results

Edit: Ok i asked kobilica, as he made this screen, told me that it's a rt version of his screen. And then looking better in lua files, i saw that: models/kobilica/wiremonitorrtbig.mdl

Kyzer: That's because the 3D2D functions draw over the RT bit on the screens.

The picture displaying isn't done in Lua, it's done in the models.
