Adv dupe- file help

everyone tells me that the adv_dupe folder should be in the data file in garysmod/garysmod/data
but when i download wire and follow everything, its in the addons and it says everything is where its supposed to be. but than if i download a file that needs adv dupe and wire than why is it in addons. do i have to download another versions for data or what do i have to do to download this file.

Your adv dupe save folder is indeed in garrysmod/data.

But I think you first have to save something for it to be created.
In singleplayer, adv. dupe a crate and save it.

That should do it.

this may sound pathetic but... how do I save spawns? i need to save a crate or something so i can get the adv dupe folder in data for downloads. but i dont know how to save anything. ive been looking everywhere and its driving me crazy. can someone tell me how to save? thanks

Dude, its a forum sometimes ti can be DAYS before you get a reply, there is no need to BUMP a a topic that is 5 minutes old.

Right click on what you want to dupe, open the adv dupe menu, If you are slightly more intelligent then a cucumber, you can figure out the rest.

erm im not so sure i know how ACTIVE this forum is. so i dont know if i want to bump or not. thanks for the advice. right click with what weapon? i cant to anything with prop spawner or physics gun. and thank you for bieng a jerk. i would use the term "d**k" but i would like to keep it appropriate for all ages.

Use the Adv Dupe tool, it shouldn't be that hard to figure out which tool to use.
