Default Vector thrusters Vs. Normal wired thrusters

I have noticed a difference between a VT and a normal thruster and I don't know why... And I'd like to see that difference go away somehow.

Say I have a self balancing platform. I'd like to use a vector thruster so when there is weight on one side, the thruster is always using the Z axis only and not adding a little side movement when the thruster is pointed a little sideways (by virtue of the platform being tilted). So I try to use vector thrusters but they are really jumpy, and it seems like no matter how I tweak the values, it stays much more jumpy than normal thrusters. Why is this? More importantly, how can I fix it?

    Thanks!

Vector thrusters seem naturally weak to me. They're fairly buggy as it is, mostly how you have to switch weapons after wiring them sometimes.
I imagine the weakness is a bug.

Apparently you are using local xyz of the vector thrusters, next time you make one, make sure you're using world xyz, then your z will actually always point down or up

Wire thrusters overall (vector and normal ones) are weak because they have no weight. Try adjusting thruster weight to like 10, and then come back saying it's weak
Also yes, it's buggy in a way - I recommend wiring your vector thrusters starting with the "mul" connection, because if it's not connected and thruster starts getting other variables like x y or z, it starts outputting errors to console

    Hope that helps,

    cheers!

I already use world xyz. That's not the problem.
