Addons for a Mac?

Hello again, I got Garrys mod to work on my mac, via, a crossover program. Only question is, how do I put addons? THere doesn't appear to be a steamapps folder anywhere... Help!

I think you should know how to navigate a filesystem before moving on to more complicated things.

I'm not sure how it is on Mac, but under Linux, directories starting with . are hidden, try looking for a "show hidden files" option somewhere.

Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal.app

Type:

"cd ~/.wine/drive_c && open ."

without the quotes.

This is your C drive. Now go from there in finder.

Nothing WRONG per say, but it's a lot easier to just install XP and everything "Just work" :V

Of course, everyone should have a Microsoft OS, it makes everything easier. That way everything "just works".

Well, gmod does for one :V In fact, do ANY games on steam support macs native? Does STEAM support it? nope. Therefore, installing Windows is the easiest way, instead of trying to fix problems with wine. Besides, I'm an old hater of apple. Not just macs, Apple as a company. That includes iPods, iTunes, and, yes, macs.
