You really need a better system of distribution, or a new SVN client like TortoiseSVN that doesn't suck for the end-user. | |

![]() | Spoco, you can still Checkout to some other location on your harddrive and the Export from there to Addons, right? Then you can Update the 'Checkout' version and then Export again. No need to Checkout every time. Of course that adds an extra step to the update process, but it will make gmod load faster as it will not have those pesky .svn files to wonder about. Oh and by the way, I do use TortoiseSVN. Easy enough to use, not that I've tested any others tho... |

![]() | Yeh you can do that, but it's kind of a pain in the ass to do that for a number of addons, like spacebuild, resource distribution, life support, phx, spacebuild modelpack, stargate, etc. I just hate it, because I play GMod maybe once a month and every time I have to update all those SVN addons, because otherwise I'll be seeing a bunch of big ERROR signs or getting complaints about why people can't spawn stuff on my listenserver. And every time I do it, it takes a couple of hours to figure all the shit out like moved SVN repositories and passwords and shit. I'm sick and tired of it. I want an automatic addon updater. Something like Curse Client for WoW. |

![]() | Whenever I try the Auto SVN link on the first page, to update my repository to the new SVN, it says the hsot machine actively refused the request and the update fails... The same goes for the old SVN link I had. Any ideas? |

![]() | i downloaded and installed the mod, following the instructions, but the wire mod doesnt seem to be in the game(things in my folder): Wiremod ( <---) Remington 700 (sniper riffle) ladder stool , weight stool, phx (also with phx it only lets me use the premium models and nothing else , meaning if i open the folder in game like their construction props, the game crashes) and the license file my thought is the folder name is supposed to be wire not wiremod (i dunno) and can someone tell me how to fix the phx ( i got the v3 from garrysmod.org - Garry's Mod Related Files! ) |

| Kanguru ![]() ![]() | Stop spamming a video which is useless since I have no idea what you're writing. Delete everything you have from wire. Extract this zip to your addons folder: ![]() Follow the simple instructions in ../addons/readme.txt and you'll have the latest version of Wiremod. Together with a very easy way to update later on. |
