![]() | Alright, slight problem with SVN, as seems to be the common problem here. Vista, 32-bit. But never had a problem until recently. While attempting to connect to the wiremod svn I get the error: svn: Not authorized to open root of edit operation I figured, okay, typo'd the username/pass.. Retried, carefully ensuring I typed it right, same error. So I googled around, and ran into this: Digital Sanctum Blog Archive svn: Not authorized to open root of edit operation Quote:
Any help? | |

![]() | Yeah I too seem to be getting this problem. All other things work for me. Updated Achievements Yesterday to revision 116, today it's revision 120 Phx3 from 91 to 92 But Adv Duplicator + Wire Mod just isn't having it. Error - Not authorized to open root of edit operation No idea what it's all about. I only updated wire to version 639 yesterday so I guess I can wait a while before trying to update again. Oh I'm on XP Pro by the way if that makes any difference since people been talking about crappy Vista ![]() Peace Out. Hope someone can find a resolution to this. |

![]() | I had the same problem so i went to google and started searching. i found out the same things that you did , so i started to look for the svnserve.conf file, and i couldn't find it no matter where i look so i went to google again and look it up. than i found out the you need to make a now folder(i made "D:\subversion") and right click it and than hold your mouse over tortoiseSVN and when the new menu opens click "create repository here" then when it say it was created the just klick okay. then you enter the map -->conf-->svnserve.conf. open it in notepad and on line #12 you change anon-access = write to anon-access = none. that solwed my problem. hope it helps |
