Does anyone know how you use the wire mod to make a 4x4 floor piece of floor or anything and when you drop it from the sky make thrusters even/level it out and slow its decent or even make it hover above the ground???

Well without the obvious answer of using hoverballs, you can do a ranger / forcer or ranger / thruster combo, I personally havent tried it myself but next time im on I will whip one up and report back to ya.

yes thats rather simple.

4 speedometers and one gyroscope, disable XYZ split and put that value into an add component, you should now have 4 add components on each corner of a flat piece. Now wire the pitch and roll of the gyroscope to the thrusters so that the thrusters react to pitch roll to flatten it out. Put the thrusters A to the add component.

Now remember that since we don't have a delta yet this will have some wobbling problems unless you tweak it.

I say have a speedometer attached to a comparison chip, then attached to thrusters.

you need one speedometer

a constantvalue with the speed you want to fall in

a greater port

and 4 thursters

I accidentally found that a forcer can be used to create slowfall.

eld 2 large plates like this with a forcer in between (use the stacker stool to do it right)

Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*^ forcer
=============== another large plate

Increase the force till you get the desired effect.


I'm working on an engine based entirely on forcers. I'm also adding negative value support too (with a +/-0.1 dead zone).
