![]() | I know alot of us here know Lua... so I'm putting you guys to the test... Wired Physics Item Challenge Task: Using Lua, make a wired physics item for the wire addon. Rules: 1. Must use Lua. 2. Must be approipriate. 3. Must dpend on nothing besides wire nad garry's mod 4. Must be useful. 5. Cannot be biger than 1MB. 6. Must be wire compatable. 7. Must go under "Wire - Physics" in the stools menu. 8. Must be a physics item. 9. Must have a paragraph or two explaining how to use it and what it does. 10. Must have a few photos or a short video tutorial (later will be better). 11. Cannot submit something you just 'found' on facepunch, here or Garrysmod.org. Judging: Entries will be jugded by me (more judges needed). Judging Characteristics: Creativity: How original it is from the other currently made items in garry's mod (includes non-wire items). Usefulness: How useful it is. If it is a death machine... we will think twice about giving it a 100 percent rating. Lua:: How your Lua scripting is including your style, how you take advantage of all the functions availble, how many errors and crashes there are, etc. Realism: How reall it looks. If you have an explosive with a radius of 1 and the effect spans 1000... we will consider this characteristic. Time: 2 weeks starting 28 July ending 11th August. Good luck! |

![]() | Well his vague description seems to fit nicely into Shandolum's request in another thread. That was if someone could create basically a wired physics object that would have dynamic values for it's: Weight boyancy gravity on/off etc. Either in the fashion of a small wire component that is "right click" linked to a prop, so it govers the props' properties much like the pod controller does for seats etc. Or the prop itself could be made into a wire component same as prop spawner etc. only it would not be transparent and perhaps best skip the wire outline on it as well. So it would be a regular prop only it would have wire inputs and perhaps some outputs, dunno what that could be tho. |
