I'll make some different versions when I come home. Then put them all in a screenshot.
Thanks for all the constructive critism everyone, I've just started so everything is highly appreciated.

Edit: About the gimbals, I personally don't like the dark-grey color, it would be better in a metallic color.

However, I've been looking a lot at Tolyzor's suggestion, it takes the problem of the gyroscope being static away.

I'm gonna try to make this into a wired gyroscope:

The middle object is only a stand for the gyroscopic rotor, I think I'm combining the two into a opened up version of the actual gyroscope. With an env bumpmap on the rotor it could look really nice.

By the way, that sphere is amazing, if it would be the same size as earth then the surface would be within a foot of accuracy to be a perfect sphere. Absolute mindblowing.

Could we have an entity marker looking a bit like a miniature radar tower?

Why a radar tower? I don't see the link?

He has a point though, but I would personally pick a satellite antenna (EDIT: dish) or something like that, because it picks up an entity "far away".

    Ah I see.
Well anyway, I'll first focus on these two models before moving on.

I mean a satalite dish kind of thing. I couldn't think of the words as the time.

    I'll look in entities.
Anything even remotely plausible will be below.

    Igniter - Flamethrower
    Nailer - nailgun
Explosive - Plastic explosive with coloured wires
user: Comedy version - A metallic finger pointing

Anyone got any ideas for a wired weight? A kettle doesn't seem right.

Not very creative, I know, but I think just a chunky box (about the size of one of the old wired inputs/outputs), with a couple of ports on the back would look and feel nice.

Well, the only way a real life wired weight could work would be an air compressor and a tank, to increase the weight the compressor fills the tank with more air from the atmosphere...so you could always make that.

Wired user could be an ir thing like from a remote control.
