    Default WM Helpers

I've been getting a little tired of always having to post this in the individual topics, so I'll say it here. If anyone else also offers to freely help people with WM, send me a message and I'll post your name here, what you can help with, and how to contact you. If we get enough people I'll sticky this.

To all the newbies, old-timers who've been away too long (boy do I know that feeling) and anyone else who's just plain stuck, I freely offer help. I have an extensive knowledge of the functions of almost all Wire entities, including all the features, documented or not, of most of the hi-speed devices, and if you ask me something I don't know, I can easily look it up in the code or ask one of the original coders. I also have a good working knowledge of Assembly programming and I can help with the Logic needed to code a system in most of the ways used here in Wire. I have not taken the time to properly learn E2 code yet, though it's on the to-do list. I *do* have a good knowledge of how its basic functions work and as I said, I can easily help you with the Logic. I will also help with any sort of math you require, don't be afraid to ask if you're young and haven't learned Triangle Trig yet. For more complicated problems, at least an 11th-grade understanding of Trigonometry, both Triangle and Circle, will help us go apace more smoothly.
Unfortunately, I cannot sign into GMod to help you with your stuff in-game for at least 5 weeks.

    Helpers:
    InfectiousFight

I help with Logic, Math, Assembly, all Entities including hi-speed, normal chips, and basically anything but Lua or actual E2 coding (though I can still help you with figuring out your E2 code.)

I can assist everyone with Expression 2, Vectors, Gates, console screens, etc. I basically can help with almost any problem at hand. (except ApplyAngleForce which is cursed)
Contact: PM here first, then Steam

People can feel free to PM me, I understand all but a few wire things.

    -HP-
I can help with E2, gates and lua. As for the E2 part, I'm not too good with the applyforce functions. It would be better asking me for things like console screen stuff, code syntax and optimizing, etc.

I know alot of abstract things like logic and general/higher programming, mostly E2, arrays, timers, case- and loop-like constructs. NOT CPU and NOT GPU... and not E1 :P Chat control, holograms, sound emitting too.

    cooldudetb
I can help anyone with gates, E2, CPU, some GPU and all the other basic elements of wire.

    Tolyzor
I help with physics (both in-game and emulation of real world), maths, E2 (specifically the vector, angle, entity, colour and ranger addons), digital screen, and all basic wire.
With regards to applyForce/Torque/OffsetForce/AngForce I can usually offer a more elegant solution than the normal PD control method for contraption control. However I'm also at ease with PD controllers.

Im confused... is this where you post about how you can offer help to others, or to post for help from you?

New to the E2? Try my Tutorial:

It's intended to be a list of people who you can ask for help. Feel free to post if you want to be added to the original post's list of people.

You can add me to that list, I can help with E2, gates and lua. As for the E2 part, I'm not too good with the applyforce functions. It would be better asking me for things like console screen stuff, code syntax and optimizing, etc. Looking forward to help

Just use judgment. We won't teach you wire from scratch but if there's an entity you can't figure out how to use or something you want to do and can't figure out how to implement, and you've already put in good effort and haven't gotten anywhere, give one of us a ring. There's nothing wrong with asking a lot of questions, if you genuinely can't figure something out, then it's no problem with asking.

I can help with most of wire stuff: gates, E2, CPU, basics of GPU. I also know quite a bit about maths, physics and programming in general. You can contact me by PMs.

My programs: BIOS - Alcyone - Calculator - Notepad - Movie Player
My tutorials: applyTorque - Quaternions - PID controllers
Some other things I made: FT Chip - RK4 Solar System
