![]() | How would you get the crane to sort out the boxes by color? 1. it must be able to locate a box 2. it must be able to move to capture a box (and then capture it) 3. it must detect the color of the box Then: it must perform a relatively complex action involving capturing a box, grabbing it and then moving it to an area (sort them). Then it must do it again, and again and again, for however many boxes there are. It has to remember what do to with the box it has, not just grab one. The point being, i do believe we should start with something a little simpler, at least for the sake of the beginners. Or even use an idea i suggested by putting the Challange in a Multi-Layered format so that everyone can participate.

Tell me I'ts crap- I don't mind, It probably is. Vending machine thrower</span> The idea of this competeition is to build a wired machine that throws vending machines. It must be controled by less than 2 buttons, and be totally, automatically reloadable. Goals: Distance, Least number of props, and time between "Fire!" button pressed and VM leaving the Machine. The Winner will be dicided by: The Distance thrown (I'll measure this via ranger) -Divided by- Time between fire button press and the VM leaving the machine. -Minus- Number of props. (Doesn't include prop spawners, ropes, hydrolics, elastics, or any wires or wire gates.) Map: Gm_flatgrass Rules: -Must be It must be controled by 2 or less buttons. -Must be totally, automatically reloadable. -Not allowed to modify the VM's wieght. -Not allowed to mess with gravity or physics or the like. -Not allowed to put thrusters, Hoverballs, ballons etc. on the VM. -Must be fired by 1 button. -Must be built on the center concrete plate on flatgrass, no part of the machine can extend past this, aside from ropes. -Can be any type of machine, whether it's a catapult or cannon or whatever. -The Distance will be measured from the side of the Platform that the "front" of your machine is facing. The VM is allowed to roll! Proof: MUST have a screenshot as proof, and a save file is definatly needed, or I can't measure it. I will be doing the measuring and timing etc. from the saves. But if you give me that information, and I find that my results are close, I will use your results. Extra points: Video provided: 10 Points Hits the edge of flatgrass: 50 points Hints: Cannons are easy to make automatically reloaded. Although catapults generally go further, they are harder to reload automatically. Also, catapults sometimes take longer to fire. <span style=\'color:#000000;background:#000000\'>Remembe r, The main goal is distance, so the way the VM lands depends on how far it rolls. So what do you think? I have got to go out now, I can't add anymore.
