the spacebuild satellite challenge

i´m currently making a rocket for spacebuild server, which trops a satellite in the orbit of the planet. the satellite must fly in a circle around the planet (without hoverballs). i´ve already a rocket, but i don´t know how to make the satellite, so i start a challenge!

Use two plates one on the planet you want your satalight to orbit and one in orbit. Then ball socket all 4 corners of the plate thats in orbit to the centre of the plate thats on the planet. Now the plate thats in orbit will satalight the planet.

no hover balls.

About your easy-solution.
You kind of ignored that it needs to be shot in space first.
And I don't think a invisible 1500 length rope to the base would be very challenge like either.

About the challenge.
I like it a lot.. Will try to figure something out.

It's easier if you have spacebox installed (so objects in space experience realistic gravity).

Well, consider a few things first. The satellite will have to know the circumference of
the planet, and it has to know WHICH planet it is supposed to orbit. After this is taken
care of, the satellite will have to produce a flight path around this planet all the while
making corrections to itself as it flies around the planet. If this where real life, you'd
have less work to do, but this is Gmod, and the spacebuild planets cannot be
orbited naturally.

maybe it could fly around coordinates from a gps, which lands on the planet or is left there...and it needn´t fly in a horizontal circle around the planet, it can fly in a vertical circle too. this may be easier.

Meh, I've made a remote gunship that would fly around a certain point while having to counter gravity, its really not that difficult to do the problem is to keep it stable and to correct itself it it hits something.

It's even simpler than that, actually: you just need to A) keep above the atmosphere and B) know which jets to turn on to increase height. The gravity will keep pulling you back anyway, and you can either jet away from the planet or jet along its tangent (increasing velocity and counteracting gravity).
