![]() | essentially those numbers state that the can, and the target are exactly opposite each other, the same distance from the start point. so, just point a grabber towards then can, grab it, and turn the contraption exactly 180 degrees, and the can is at the target. hax!on a further note; i've already starting building my robot. essentially its an automated car. i've already got the wires in place so it can travel towards the can if there are no obstacles in front of it.

What style of robot are you going to make? fast in fast out or ultra complex obstacle solver?

![]() | [quote=Roastie;57017] - Your bot MUST be land based. It cannot go more than 16 units (inches) from the ground in normal operation. [quote] If the can is placed on a roof or wall, it would be extreemly difficult to navigate to if we cant fly. |

![]() | Well I started working in this challange about 2 days ago and I kinda managed to complete it. Instructions: 1. Spawn the robot. 2. With Numpad input "5", set the position where the robot will return after retrieving the can. To do list: -Smoother can pickup. -Drop a can when arriving back at the determined return position. Here is a little picture. The movie isn't ready yet but I will post it ASAP. ![]() Well the robot itself has a lot of stuff on it. Some things don't even have to be there but I didn't remove them because it doesn't matter anyways. The robot it still beta version so let me know if you want me to improve it. I would like some feedback on this.

I'll probably also make some sort of E-Gate to randomize the maze also... more fun that way. Then again.. I just came up with an awesome idea... what if the maze was constantly changing? It would destroy the strategy I've got now, but I think I may be able to develop something to handle that... How many points would I get if I had a robot that would treck a maze about the size of 1/4 of flatgrass that was constantly shifting? | |

![]() | This sounds very complicated turck. You want to make it scan the maze and avoid it that way?
