i hope it does not conflict with normal wire when i install it
if not, i will try it.
DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?
Speaking of the wiki its not JUST for wire2, ill be adding extensions over the next few days to make it more like wikipedia. And yes i know the front page of it is default.
Edit: I'm also the source of the new titles. Don't ask why, i just got bored by the same old ones

Suggestion:
Every "Physical" tool (Thruster, Wheel) (All the Physic Tools that you wire to directly) could have a controller like the hydraulic and winch and what-not.
Also, make wheels update-able :S, and maybe go by torque for the input.
We also need a logo to replace that wrench on the tab menu!![]()
Ok, I am absolutely certain that this is somewhere already on the forum, but could someone give me a nice neat concise list of the advantages of using wire2? Is it more efficient, or just different? Also, what's not so great about it, aside from the fact it was just released... are things broken? Do I still get all the old devices like gyroscopes, or have those just been replaced? Will either expression gate work with it as of yet or is that just around the corner in development?
PS: It may be useful to post the answers to these questions on the first page to avoid more similar questions![]()
I'm sure once wire 2 is developed enough it will replace the legacy components of Wire 1. As for advantages, it's a complete rewrite. This means it will be more stable, and it's changing the way wire components are laid out (on PCB boards rather than all over props, making a circuit board style).
As garry puts it, you shouldn't hinder progress (although we won't be as douchebag about it :P)
Anywho, once the important parts are ported and wire2 is stable, there will be a UWSVN2.
"You can only tie the record for flying low."
Can numbers and events be converted between each other? If so, there's really no need for any 'classic Wiremod thrusters', etc., as the type conversion would simplify everything.
Other than that, great work, Erkle. I have a patch that makes the list of components in the component selection panel as tall as it needs to be, but I've yet to get around to showing it to anybody.
