2. It's not really a logo in my opinion, more like an icon, and although the perspective has a purpose, it is hard to use it in a context/background because it will always look out of place, it is skewed and that puts constraints on the surrounding content as well.

Very busy, many small pins and akward distortion of WM, it's something funny with it, I can clearly see WM, but everytime I loose focus I kind of have to "scan" the image again to "see it" (think of it like looking at a word, at a glance you can know what it says, but if it is blurry or cluttered you have to concentrate).
4. Kind of like 3, use spacing/padding to make features more easily distinguishable and prominent, you have WM all the way out to the pins and "the letters slightly tangled". It has more of a "picture"-appearance rather than "readable/memorizable"-appearance.
