Wire 2 Needs You (again)

Yeah get some things set up, instead of just posting a single file that you expect one person to complete by himself. It has to be a community effort.

I could try to work on it, I really don't care for a reward. But, if I do manage to fix it, people will probably rape me with suggestions due to wire 2 still being moderately new.

What if each SComponent was also a function in an E2-like programming language, and an IC would then be equivalent to a script in this language -- then users could write the code or build the IC, doesn't matter which.

That's an interesting idea, and could also help people get to grips with the side of Wire2 they may not understand, as they could convert their ICs between code and gates and see how they compare.

Not entirely sure it'd be easy to implement though, and whatever the scomponents use to function would probably not be very friendly for the end-user to be reading through.

I'd love to see wire 2's IC building capability to be fully developed, I think it will be another one of the defining capabilities of wire.

Uhm...it may sound out of place, but. If I could learn to help here I would.
I only started, even playing garry's mod, a few months ago. But I could learn if someone could point me in the tutorial direction.

I want to help, even if it takes 4 months to start. ._.

Sorry guys my computer broke and vB doesn't like my phone(are they really even phones any more) too much so I can't yell at people and get the ball rolling.

Ill just throw this in, some of the features of wire 2 can be implemented in wire 1, such as the visible ports. When tomy was bashing wire 2 on irc he said that could be easily implemented. If somebody wants to "easily implement" that you get a cookie. Now as to everybody wanting to work on it and the silly reward, I'm just trying to motivate people to do my evil bidding. If thers something else I can do to make you minions work harder let me know, on irc because that's where I spent most of my days.
