Wiremod is in need of a few pennies for a forum system upgrade. We are planning on using the vBulletin Publishing Suite, which will allow us to drop many of these hacks used in the current forum, thereby resolving many of the bugs that we have.

vBulletin Publishing Suite is a CMS, which will provide the facilities needed to keep in touch with the community in the coming months. Things like developer blogs and project development updates can be integrated with forum discussions more seemlessly. These will be important as we approach our announcement for a secret project the wireteam has been working on. It also allows members of the community to create their own projects as well.


As for this said project... you will be impressed. Here is a screenshot of the current pre-alpha of the project. Doesn't look like much, but you should know these cubes are not part of the map..... there are other important things about them, but we aren't ready to reveal just yet.

Looks nice, but I'm not sure what's so special cool about that picture, as far as I can tell it's just a big box, with a lot of light sources in it and a bunch of other spawned boxes spinning in the air (with all effects turned on), or am I missing something essential (nice hud though).

After I have bought the final things for my studio, I can donate between 10 - 100 $
Will take 2 - 4 weeks though. Since Im not sure on the amount I want to dedicate.

You don't hang around IRC much syranide, so you have been greatly out of the loop. If you were in the loop, you would be proud of that picture.

There is rarely anything said of interest, unless there are immediate development efforts on-going so I haven't really found it worthwhile.

But it'll be interesting to see what will become of it.
