You need to make sure you add your credits and information to the readme, Borsty. I have done so for this time around :P

To increase the ranger's range look inside the cpu sourcecode, change the definition and upload it to the cpu.
What do you mean with sensitivity? The digital screen can only display 256 gray shades.

Is the range limited to 2000 max, or was that just an example for the documentation?
Sometimes I like to use rangers with longer distances for random things like long-distance spy-cameras or wall avoiders that look far ahead to allow higher speeds.

It needs an option to return an object's EntPos, perhaps in positions 7, 8, and 9, as well as a few more to give the ranger's own EntPos.

so can rangers output colour? if so, could you create colour photo's rather than depth based ones?

No, not exactly. There's a 'color' output but that outputs the object's base color, which by default is perfect white for everything (it's the color you set with the 'color' stool). Rangers can't read the color of a specific pixel they're hitting.

Is it possible to maybe get an update to allow reading the X/Y/Z velocity of any entity targetted?

I'll add all the outputs of the original ranger to it sometime this week. I'll tell you when it's done.

But the original ranger also does not output EntPos last time I checked. It did sometime before rev 450, I think, but it got completely replaced by TracePos. If both were options, that'd be pretty sweet.
(and so would the Pos of the ranger itself. *hopeful?*)
