Re: Custom consolescreen Hey could you add regular wire support so i don't have to use a cpu cause that's the one thing I'm not learning very well. We'll nice job for what you have so far!

Added wrapper gate to use the screen with the normal wire systems
Pic showing Touchscreen output and list of inputs.
Clk is used to put the new char with its params into the right address, Active needs to be 1 to get the chars drawn (just like with the cpu when you print a bigger chunk of text)
So set active to 0, put your text into the screen, set active to 1 and zing! your string or whatever gets drawn.

Re: Custom consolescreen I've made some programs with e-gate that use console screens like a notepad based one. It uses X Y CharParam Char and Clk. That's why i want the regular wire compatibility but mainly because i no good at CPU's. Oh and your adding a function for stuff like 2714 - Cursor Enabled
into the chip right.

Well it isn't really compatible since the background is on layer 0 and text on layer 1 and 2. If you want it to be compatible, use the normal console screen :P
If you want to use the advantages of the screen you'll have to mod your e-gate a little :P
