    Default Wired Npc

    Wired Npc Addon

This addon allows for a npc to be told a position to be moved to in terms of Gps coordinates. It also notifies who attacked the npc to the user and with how much damage. A noded map is probably required for this to work properly like gm_construct.

Multiple npcs can be alloted to the controller for a swarm-like experience but I will have to add a way to have individual npcs to be controlled since they all read of the same table. The dlc file included isn't needed but coders will likely enjoy it.

This is included in the attachments at the bottom and in the wire extras svn.

    And now for the vid!

    Make that optional ^^.

Make it so you can have more than one npc on a controller at a time, for swarm and horde purposes.

This would be really cool for base protection and stuff. Hook it up to a beacon sensor and whenever a player gets within x units away from your base, a gate opens up and enemies go charging at the player. Smithers, RELEASE THE HOUNDS!

Can this be used to control NPC attacks? If so, you could set up combines to patrol a certain area, and attack if someone is nearby.

Nice job. I'd like to see this added to the Wire Extras SVN.

Thanks. I'll have to get around to making them attack and somehow getting each different npc to a different controller or maybe a choice of the two.

I added it to the Wire Extras SVN a whlie back as well. I might play with the Z values to perfect the move commands in the near future as well.

I've been having problems, I spawned in two NPC controllers with NPCs, and I sent them coordinates. But when I sent the go command they just twitched repeatedly and very very very very slowly moved towards the target location.

Does it not work if I create multiple NPC controllers? (In Multiplayer)
