About LinkBacksmaybe im stupid but i cant seem to find the ent/player chips. i installed the first file from the OP put i dont see the chips in the file or in game.

Re: Entity Gates, Vector Gates, and other stuff The beta target finder and ranger are in the uwsvn, so if you have that you may want to delete the ones in this file to avoid conflicts.
The vector gates are also now in the official svn aren't they? You might want to manually edit those out, the svn might have newer updated versions.
But still, I just tested it and they get added to the Wire - Tools under Gate, they should be expandable subsections now.
