Hey guys,
I've made an addon which you may find useful. Basically it sets an entity to no collide based on a wire input. It also saves the material and colour used in each state, so you can make a force field type thing which goes invisible or changes colour when deactivated.

To install:
- Extract the zip file contents into %steam directory%\steamapps\%email%\garrysmod\garrysmod\a ddonsTo use:
- Select the 'No Collide' tool under the 'Wire - Physics' section of the wiremod tab(Optional)
- Left click on the entities you want to no collide
- Right click where you want to weld the controller
- Wire the 'Activated' input to whatever you want!- Set the No Collide Controller to deactivatedInputs:
- Change the material and colour for entities in their normal state using the normal material and colour tools
- Set the No Collide Controller to activated
- Set the material and colour for entities when they are no collided--> The material and colours will be saved when the no collide state is changed, allowing a force field like effect when turned on and off
Activate :0 - Entities have normal collisions
>0 - Entities will not collide with other players or props
If anyone wants to include this in a bundle addon (or even in the wiremod svn) then feel free. Give me an email if you do.
