![]() | Hey guys, I've made an addon which you may find useful. Basically it sets an entity to no collide based on a wire input. It also saves the material and colour used in each state, so you can make a force field type thing which goes invisible or changes colour when deactivated. ~ wire_no_collide ~ [UPDATE] New in version 2: - You can select multiple entities to no collide To install: - Extract the zip file contents into %steam directory%\steamapps\%email%\garrysmod\garrysmod\a ddonsTo use: - Select the 'No Collide' tool under the 'Wire - Physics' section of the wiremod tab(Optional) - Set the No Collide Controller to deactivatedInputs: Activate :0 - Entities have normal collisions If anyone wants to include this in a bundle addon (or even in the wiremod svn ) then feel free. ![]() | AH finally! There were so many posts regarding the creation of a no-collide latch, tell me is it possible to create one similar to a weld latch? For instance click on two props that you can toggle the no collide on and off? Great work!

![]() | I think this should be put into svn as it has got a lot of uses i like the idea of been able to colour the prop when in no-collide. So if it is ok with splat i think it would be a very good addition to the wire mod addon. |

![]() | Thanks for the positive feedback ![]() drpepper: That is certainly something that I could add in. Where would you use it though? My next idea was to make it so that you can left click multiple entities to no collide (with all other ents), and right click to place the controller instead of just being limited to one no collide per controller. Having this and being able to no collide two specific entities could be a little tricky though - i wouldn't be sure how the controls would work... As for adding this to the svn, I would be happy with that. Would be nice to use this on some of the servers . Does anyone know how to go about it? I'm assuming we have to ask one of the devs nicely!Mat | ||||||||
