    Meh. If I were you, I'd have 0 as black and -1 as default. It seems more logical like that.

    Also, can't you have all four channels in one fbyte?

    If I put all four channels in one fbyte, there will be problems with precision and I will probably lose at least one channel.
    Also, I want 0 to be default color, because the memory is filled with 0's by default. The point is to have the points be of the default color by default, so that you have only to set color for these points, that should be different. Setting -1 as the default color will make whole idea useless.

    Oh yeah, with individual colors you can't have 681 points, you can have just 291 then. It is a lot anyway, and probably can lag just as well, but if you need it, I can extend holoemitter memory so that it will be able to handle 681 points in both modes.
