    why do you use entity indices everywhere instead of the entities themselves?

    I mentioned this earlier - if you store the entities themselves, then it won't reliably pick up the correct entities if anything changes, e.g. if you spawn new entities and remove old ones. Suddenly you find it isn't picking up certain props, or it detects damage on ones it shouldn't. I'll probably change it up again soon anyway, experiment what I can add and what corners I can cut.

    that sounds hardly possible...
    it works fine for gametick.lua and signal.lua

    EDIT:
    i think the difference is that these remove the entries before the entities are destroyed
    since you're doing the same with the damage detectors here, it should work
