If you want to stay up to date, just in case, that'd be the best way.

Wirelink... hmmm... I don't think so, maybe not without creating a dummy entity and adding a whole new wirelink data entry panel. Wirelinks can have many float inputs, so I'd have to make a way for you to specify what number to send where. It could get very messy very soon. I'll look into it though.

Entity? I don't understand your implication. Do you mean to store data into an entity that doesn't have enabled inputs/outputs? Being able to choose which entity to send data to without looking at it? or?

Have you seen the functions entity(N) and E:id() (E2 wiki), make a field where you can give an entity id and it would send an entity to the expression.

Already in the tool. It's the EntityID input, you give it a number and it will transform it into entity data. If the entity doesn't exist it won't work. It is has a slider because apparently all integrated number inputs have a slider.

Maybe I didn't make it clear enough? I'll edit the OP.
