    It would come in handy especially for use with wire. For instance the RBG values could change depending on distance, or where on the players hud the target resides.

    Also as I was saying about how if a target goes off hud the box can turn to an arrow. It would also be nice to be able to limit where a hud item can move. Trap it on the players hud, or limit it to a specific region.

    Another handy feature, would be the ability to define multiple huds into a specific device. To save on clutter. Like a constant value chip, just pick the number you want and set the values.

    Seriously though, I'm working on this in almost all my spare time now, (limited as that is) so it shouldn't be too far off, but dont hold you're breath :P

    Where'd the fun be then? *evil*

    Anyhow 'flexability' is the name of the game for V2, and will let you script UIs from any number of graphical elements, including Derma (yay!) for user feedback to wire contraptions, whilst allowing basic crosshairs and circles/lines/boxes etc. as well.

    But shhhh!

    No reason why not, but they'd have to be serverside/sp only, as there's no mechanism for sending that sort of data to the server.

    Oh, I just remembered, if you're expecting textures to work; expect pain... I've been unable to get them to work consitently (issues with them dissapearing when the STOOL isn't equipped) and I spent a good few hours messing with texture settings, so unless someone can point me at the issue/missing function or something we're scuppered for the moment.

    Either way, for the first release, I'll only be getting the basics working, textures will come second.

    Because AFAIK the "ugly" crosshair is also a custom texture of you, right?
