Right, to those interested, my UWSVN tool tab changer programs are now live. They can be found and downloaded in the following thread:

Hmmm, okay tool search makes life easier, but I believe I would be able to make a program that (when run) would toggle between them appearing in a seperate list and under Wire. Then even if the update causes them to revert you could just run it and they would return to the way you want. I could then post this in another thread (or this one) if/when I get it working. I doubt it would be possible to toggle this in game as the files will have already been loaded.
UPDATE: I just had a poke around and it is easily possible to make a program to do this, it wont be perfect as the code to search through the entire file is frankly too much for me to be bothered with. But I can easily make a program that will just add "TOOL.Tab = "Wire - Unofficial"" on the end, and this will cause them to go under the new heading. I will also see about making one to reverse the process.

Screenshots of the log window please.
Umm, how long did you wait? It takes a bit to initialize.
I am getting some errors when loading this svn on a linux server, I had an issue with another addon because the file system in linux is case sensitive. Perhaps a quick clean up is all that is in order.
Those are the errors I am getting. I hope that helps.[addons/wire extras/lua/weapons/gmod_tool/stools/wire_touchplate.lua:1] attempt to index global 'WireToolSetup' (a nil value)
