What are you now talking about?
Wire extras svn or the normal svn?
Well, in 10 days, I'll do that. >_> Heh, don't have GMOD QUITE yet.
Anyway. Just what is the difference? I saw that there's different tools, but how much of a different... well, for lack of a better term, playstyle, is it?
The difference between Wire and Extras SVN.
UWSVN doesn't replace Wiremod, it adds to it.
.... Er... Yeeeah..
... Nevermind. *sigh*
Well I think if you're asking how the playstyle is, it makes doings things a lot more direct...with servos and facer, for example, rather than figuring out bearings, dicking around with hydraulics and thrusters, etc., it just faces where you want it to automatically. The same with doors. Then there's things like Wire Socket Radio, which let you communicate with other servers...overall, it expands the areas where you can work with both down and up (i.e., on the physical, moving, acting end, and the intangible, ethereal, data-crunching end.)
Ah.
I like the sound of the "not dicking around with bearings and stuff" part. Woot.
I just installed this and it turned my gmod/gmod addons folder into one of those svn update files, which you can't checkout. How am I supposed to update it without the ability to svn checkout?
EDIT: no worries, I removed the .svn folder and that fixed it.

Communicating with other servers O_O. *Goes and makes a text messaging system*
Next Post: Damn...

(='.'=) PM me code and I'll send it back optimized if possible. (I find it fun dammit!)

Wire Extras SVN shouldn't have the Wire Socket Radio... It relies on a DLL which is a no-no... (it would cause annoying bugs to those with hosts who disallow DLL's)
