    What is an XYZbeacon?

You give the XYZ Beacon some coordinates and then link it to the beacon sensor. Makes things like autopiloted vehicles easier.
Please host the files somewhere else like garrysmod.com.

First of all , where do i get the coordinates given to the XYZBeacon from? When the XYZBeacon gets those coordinates what exactly does it output to the beacon sensor? And finally what is the difference beetween this and simply use a Target Finder and a Beacon Sensor with Split X,Y,Z ?

Ah I see what your saying!
Yeah the beacon sensor can output the targets xyz, but a beacon sensor can not target x1000, y1000, z1000 unless it is hooked to the XYZbeacon. So what could this be used for? Well, lets say we have 2 beacon sensors, one hooked to a target finder and it outputs XYZ of the target. Then we have our other beacon sensor on the front (lets say of a phx 1x1 plate) linked to the XYZ beacon. Now we tell the plate to attack the target, then with an e-gate (that takes the first beacon sensors outputs XYZ and converts them into the cords that are needed for the attack) and some trig we tell it to swoop up in the air and come around for another pass. Just many of the uses, also another use which is for the realistic peoples (rp :P ) they could have a satellite with a ranger outputting xyz for the XYZbeacon and viola.

    Until later says,

So erm.. you mean it can target thousands of targets at the same time?

I found the XYZ Beacon file

    http://www.wiremod.com/attachments/8/6/0/2440.attach

If it tries to save it as an "attach" file then click SAVE, add ".zip" to the end of the filename, select ALL FILES from the drop-down list, Save it!

Man the folder numbers in that attachments folder make no sense. I found out though that you can get the numbers for the filename by looking at the attachment link on the post

No, it can target numbers. That's it, it can target numbers.

The way you're telling us how it works makes me think this is un-needed, why would you need something which just gets the numbers which the beacon sensor can target on?
While you can just hook up a beacon sensor to a gps, a laser pointer reciever or anything which outputs coordinates?
I really don't see the use of this..
