Wire RT Screen

A simple addon that display an RT camera on screens.

Not much feature..:

- You can press Use on the screen to turn it on/off (emit a nice button sound).
- As it's a Wire addon, there is an input "Display", so you can turn it on/off with a button or whatever.
- 7 screens.
- Options: Create Flat and No Collide (collide only with world.)

For a sec I thought this allowed multiple RT cams each displaying on a different screen (like LPine's Surveillance Camera SEnt).

Hmm, so, it's possible to have multiple camera displaying on multiple screens ?? Give me a link to that addon please, i need to see how he did!

basically Lpine did it by having over 300 textures for up to 5 cams on anywhere upto about 60 players. it was a horrific way to do it.

I'm not one on programming (stupid confusing c++ book) so is it even worth getting the luapinneaple addon?

You don't need any programming to use the addon and it's not bad, it just has 2 fairly minor glitches and probably isn't best used on a server because of what Tomb said.

Also, Lua is a much more forgiving language than C++ (if you ever did try coding in it).

I saw that..but do you think there is another better way to do that ? Also i don't really understand the need of those 64*5 EMPTY textures :mellow:

from what i understand the textures are placeholders that get the render texture written to them then the screen loads that texture onto itself.
