    killburn, on the motor... a friction value that we can define BEFORE making the motor would be nice.... just like the current axis tool... i know it's not THAT much to change, and i'd do it myself if i had a clue how to codein LUA, but it would come in really handy to just have a default constant friction value.

    I've got 3 quick requests/questions about the motor;

    firstly, could you add the dynamic friction (as in the clutch) anyway and let people have the option. It may not be perfect, but as long as we're not forced to use it, what problem does it present?

    Secondly; have you seen the EasyPrecision STool, if so, do you think it's worth having a similar "no-gap" approach on the motor?

    Third and lastly; would it be possible to constrain the motor to a certain angle of rotation? *sneeky way of requesting servo *

    I want to see how you implemented that mic. Perfect for star trek style doors.

    Oh, you used env_microphone. I was hoping you'd use some kind of lua base. I had already made a env_mic based sensor...

    10% of forum members have a stupid 98%+ "if-you-don't-add-this-to-your-sig". If you are part of the population who don't do that and have a frontal lobe and use semi-accurate statistics, don't copy this into your sig![/sarcasm]

    Umm, yeah, what were you expecting ? I would love to make my own Lua microphone, but as far as I know, there is no way to detect if an entity is emitting sound or not. Or am I wrong ?

    Wow, well done! Now you need a text screen that can display strings! The Mic will come in very useful.

    I also wish to see this in the SVN and the sound emitter to not be replaced.

    EDIT: And if not in Wire Mod SVN then at least create you own.

    Did you get chance to add that toggle concommand to Ignore STool btw?

    Edit: I think we really need a lot more of these env_ and point_ entities in Lua scripts besides env_microphone and speaker. I was looking at the complete list on Valve's site and it seems there's dozens of them; wind, rotor effect stuff, spotlights etc
