EDIT: bugger read it wrong.
it depends some addons work sepreatly like any other addon.
others you extract and have a folder named lua or models or materials that those folders and place them inside your wire addon folder.

i dont have a wire addon folder all i have in addons in garrysmod>garrysmod>addons>wire

garrysmod>garrysmod>addons> wire model pack 1

garrysmod>garrysmod>addons>license

so i put all my shit in there and then itll come up in my wire-io-physics menu

its alright that your new. trust me I've only ever seen one person get banned from this website. were pretty accepting of just about everything just don't go deliberately trying to make trouble

to install addons first save them and then either open the file and copy it all or choose extract. go to you c drive then program files then steam then steamapps there you will see a file labeled with your steam account name go from there to the folder called garrysmod and in there is another file labeled garrysmod in there you will see your addons folder. all addons go there.

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\"your user name"\garrysmod\garrysmod/addons

also you need to have patience there are not many people in this forum.

the other guy to go to the >addons>wire and just save the shit there. do i put it in the addons folder or the wire folder?

i recommend you just delete the wire adv_dup and wire models folders and get Svn wire
