dvorak isnt any better than qwerty.
all studies "proving" dvorak to be better were conducted by mr dvorak himself.

Dvorak vs Qwerty - Which is best?. You can read 100's of other articles which saying the same thing. Think about it... all of the vowels except "I" are directly under my left fingertips and the most used consonants in the English language are under my right fingertips. How is it not better? The only drawback is that it's not standard and that's the biggest pain in the a**.

You are right, in a sense... If you're a good typist on a qwerty keyboard, then I would stick with qwerty.

I could always call logitech and ask them but I might have go through a few techs to get a straight answer. On most keyboards, the home keys can't be interchanged but I've been putting up with that ever since I learned to type.
After some searching it turns out you can pop out and rearrange the keys on a blue (1st gen) G15. Source(CTRL+F dvorak).

articles arent studies. articles dont indicate, let alone prove anything.

There are a alot of G15 LCD applets to download, like one that shows the weather, MSN chats, Winamp/WMP info, net traffic,(E2 ), also some games and software support it natively (if not, you can get seperate applets, I got 2 for TF2 ATM), like Xfire and Multiwinia. Also Source has a broken G15 support if you launch with the -g15 parameter.

If you do got the money for it, and spend the entire day behind your computer, its surely worth it.

Also note there are 2 versions, a blue (1st gen) and orange (2nd gen) version. Pretty much everybody prefers the blue one because of the cooler look, 18 instead of 6 Gkeys and the bigger LCD display.
Well... the orange one actually has three buttons at the top "M1, M2,M3 and MR" M! allows you to access one set of recorded macros, M2 allows you to access differents ones and so does M3. MR records keystrokes and macros if you want to add any more. So really, the orange one, which isn't as large as the blue one, has exactly the same amount of G-keys and the first one, the blue one. And also the blue one is a little bugged too (not that the orange one isn't :mellow

Bak on topic of this old thread, sounds awesome, i'll download it straight away.

As far as I know, both G15 versions has the M buttons, making the total amounts of macros on the 1 generation keyboard 54.

It has been a while since I made this. I'm thinking of recoding this to (hopefully) solve the stack error some people have been encountering and make it work on multiplayer as well, using the derma extension as example.
