Strings and E-gate inputs, possible?

I am trying to make an E-gate that takes in strings, with gates from Entity Gates, Vector Gates, and other stuff. Is there a specific command to make inputs strings? Half an internet and a dozen to someone who answers this.

The E-gate doesn't support strings, but the Expression 2 does. That should be all you need to know.
