Target finder setting problem

Its happened quite a few times to me after setting a target finder to only target a specific target using the name filter, then removing the text in the name filter box and trying to go back to normal it bugs sometimes and wont target anything at all.

If it helps it also sometimes puts some random characters into the box when i hit enter after removing the text.

Now I cant do anything with it I have to spawn old ones from adv dup files to do anything.

I know this is a client side setting problem because it doesn't matter what server I goto.

Does anybody have any ideas? I've already tried to reinstall wire mod and it didn't work.

I cant completely reinstall g mod i don't have a clue where half the addons came from lol.

This is a bug with gmod, I still get it too, just keep backspacing the fields and then click anywhere outside the field on the Q menu instead of pressing enter to leave the field. That's what works for me.

ok well it doesent work it might have worked when it screwed up off and on but its permantly screwed up atm

i guess what i really need is how to reset the stool settings... that should fix it
