Reply With Quotewell... redownloading basicly is the only thing u can do
this doesn't just affect my wire mod tools at least one tool from every sections is missing most of my construction and wire mod tools are gone i onyl have like 6 left.
Don't' get think i have closed the section bcuz i haven't they are completly gone
any ideas apart from re-downlaod it i really don't wanna wasn't my usage

I don't know if it helps, but type "cvarlist toolmode" in your console, then check if the tools you DON'T have in the stools list, are set to 0. If they are all 0 then do a little script that sets all cvars starting with "toolmode_allow_" to 1...Again, i don't know if it helps or no.
thx for the ideas but i fixed it without re downlaoding.
if u would liek to how i did fix i deleted the garrysmod folder inside the garrysmod folder ( with addons and lua files in ) and it re created its self and now my game better than eva
That's also known as redownloading
Steam automatically checks with the steam server to see if files are up to date and automatically downlaods the new versions.
Since you had no files at all: it downloaded it all again.
