My CPU runs machine code for it's architecture (right now one opcode), and 2051 takes in 8051-compatible binary. Get assembler for 8051, and it can use it's output

BCD to seven-segment display decoder It takes 4 bit binary and turns it into a number on the display. It cant be directy used like in the example but you can modify it.

7447 is the BCD decoder chip.

Update, replaced timing unit and instruction counter, so CPU is now fail-proof:

Its not my schematic, but its just the one I use for the basis for my cotraptions. Does any know how to make plugins for this thing because theres a few things Id like to do with this? @Black Pheonix: Where did you learn this knowledge of logic based CPUs. Every time I google it I just find sites where people brag about their scratch built computers but no schematics.

Yes, that's right. It features no chips. Mostly made out of logic gates (AND, OR, etc.)
