And how often would your average school network admin bother to update the Cisco firmware/software? Probably about once every 5 yrs.

My primary schools security was pathetically weak. My teacher had her passwords pinned up on the wall, so i copied them down, used them to log on, and ran a brute forcer. All the teacher passwords were four numbers, and the admin password was a simple four letter word.

I also unplugged two Cat5 cables that lead through to the next classroom from a switch. The admin couldn't figure it out.

At our school, there is a Common Read folder and Common Write folder. You cannot write to files in the Common Read folder, or read files in the Common Write folder. (The Common Write folder is for giving work to teachers.)

So, you can modify somebody else's work in the Common Write folder, and they won't be able to tell. Just subtle modifications, like sticking the sentence 'Nobody is reading this' into their work somewhere.

well we use novell and that sucks but theyt have it load into xp accounts from that and macs suck becuse you cant upgrade them the only good thing about them is there processors quad core i think that that is cool but still they SUCK

You hate them because you can't upgrade them?
And the only thing that good about it is the CPUs?

If that's one thing pro, and con, then it would be entirely useless?

They might not be good for games, but to work on Animations (Flash, etc...) or other Media work, they beat PCs by a mile.

I'm not very experienced with batch files but If I had one try to calculate the value of pi would it have some sort of automatic cut switch for that or would it just slow down the computer?
