from what i know Fraps

Source Recorder is much better over-all though. It's free, allows longer recording times, and the end result is lag-less.

And fraps has unlimited record time

3. if you actually config it makes video files(.avi)

TBH if you're going to upload to Youtube or Google Video, Fraps it. Because it doesn't make a difference. Although if you're make some sort of HD Movie for download, or uploading to a good video viewer like what Tricky's used, then use Source Recorder.

Use Source recorder anyway, the framerate is much better.
