Stringtable crash thingamajiggy

On my server, every time someone joins, there's a chance that the server will spontaneously crash with a dialog box error message saying something about stringtables, and a whole bunch of random strings in the server console (they usually relate to what the server was doing at the time and the addons that were on it). The chance seems to go up with the number of clients on the server, which is really annoying because it guarantees that the server will crash as soon as things start warming up.

Is there a way to fix this, or just greatly reduce the chance of it happening?

It will reduce the crashes it set the values to 8192 each.

And clear the dua cache.

That fix doesn't help. The client limit is the same as the server's - If the server's limit is raised and not the clients' then the server will survive, but clients will crash and won't be able to join until restart and the tables are reset.

Not only that, but the server just crashed anyway. Why doesn't this happen with anyone else's server?

It happens with plenty of other servers, most of them just get it under control after a while.... post your list of addons, there are a few known culprits for this overflow that, if removed, will help relieve the issue.

I'll post a comprehensive list later, but here's all the ones I can remember...

ULX
ULIB
SPP (NON SVN)
Half-Life Renaissance (While it IS an enormous mod (even though I don't see anything more than a few SNPCs, it took two hours to move from the temp folder to garrysmod directory...), I had problems before I installed it and there's no difference between the amount of crashes then and now)
EAGLE gun/Gauss Gun (a swep that makes s*** asplode)
Wire (duh)
PHX
Player Resizer (it's fun)
NPC control (I don't even remember installing that one...)
Two stackers
Weight STOOL
Buoyancy STOOL

And also a bunch of maps that go into the addons folder. I may have gotten them all...

Oh, and there's some weird arranger stool that I never use and I'm not sure if I actually installed it or not.

Get me the full list - none of those stick out off hand as being bad

Plan of attack:
Take out all the mods that aren't listed below one at a time and isolate which one is causing your problem, the crash times should either be significantly reduced or eliminated if you took out the right one.

Wire
PHX
Weight Stool

I should mention... sometimes it can be caused by multiple addons building up, not just one... but lets start with one and see if that helps.

I'm not sure that's actually possible... It only crashes when two or more people enter the server, and since the server crashes every time two or more people come on the server, no one comes on the server anymore.


Lemme go look at the addons folder and give you a full list...

GCombat is known to result in this crash... remove it.
