Lua Wire entity/stool tutorial needed

Hi everyone.

Recently I tried to find a tutorial that clearly explained how to make a wire entity or stool, and found nothing. I already know a fair amount of lua, and I look at the code in other ents and stools and can understand what it's doing, but the moment I try to make something myself it all goes wrong. My worst attempt so far it didn't even show up in the tool menu, my best so far I could select tool, it would show ghost, but when I click to try and spawn it would come up with an eror message saying the lua attempted to run MakeWireAdvKeyboardController (boolean value). I observed all related code and found one boolean value, which I accounted for by removing and setting what it changed myself.

I would like someone, anyone, to make or provide me with a link to a tutorial that clearly explains how to do this. I know the basis of this but would still like everything other than basic syntax, etc that can be found in the wiremod ent and stool files explained.

Lua - GMod Wiki

There's a whole bunch of Lua there, if that doesn't help you I am sorry. :P I also just look at code snippets from pre-made stools and such.

Yeah, the gmod wiki lua doesn't help that much, btw your account says that oyu havn't logged in for more than a year, if it's not actually you, add me as SchwarzeFuch (german for BlackFox)

EDIT: oh, and i can't find that thread you were talking about satans, i went back a week and couldn't see it, went into all by blackhole, too.

Oh yeah, that's old HL1 account i'm real smart, lol. Try omicronium then, that'll work.
